Richmond Group X Class Descriptions



ABT

An advanced class for totally toning your abs, butt and thighs. Focuses on strengthening and sculpting using balls, body weight and barbells.

Ball Blitz

This muscle conditioning cardio class uses the stability ball and Bosu ball to uniquely challenge your muscles to a whole new level. Enhance strength, endurance, core conditioning and balance. All levels.

Bosu Boot-camp

This unique class offers a mix of cardio, strength training and balance work on the ever popular Bosu Ball.

Cardio Bosu

Get your cardio workout while building core stability and strength! Cardio Bosu keeps you moving, challenges your balance and makes you sweat. This class is challenging but welcome to all levels.

Cardio Step n' Sculpt

A total body workout! This class alternates between cardio intervals and muscular strength and endurance drills utilizing the step. Continuous movement to great music keeps the heart rate up for a sweat drenched sculpting session.

Corporate Crunch

A 40min class perfect for your lunch hour. Cardio-muscular conditioning class using intense drills, functional exercise and core techniques to make you sweat and burn.

Zumba!

The Zumba program fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a kind fitness program that will blow you away.Zumba Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing,awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

Hard Core Abs

A great class to target you tummy! This intermediate level class has advanced core exercises to shape and tone your abdominal area. Core rotation, crunches and planks are just a few examples of some of the exercises we do.

Pilates Mat Class mixed level and intermediate

Mat Pilates will introduce the basic Pilates core progressions and challenge you with more advanced mat work allowing you to gain subtle core strength and length.

Step 2

For the choreography lovers out there, this Step class with have your mind and heart racing with interesting new moves and danced-based patterns. This class will have you spinning, L-stepping and mamboing your way to a better body.

Strength n' Stretch

This energetic class is suitable for all fitness levels - participants choose their own weights. The workout consists of barbell training for every major muscle group. Posture, correct lifting technique and core muscle engagement are emphasized. Choreography is simple:  think of it as a structured weightlifting workout to music. Floor work and a complete body stretch round out the second half of the class.

Tennis Fit

This high energy class is perfect if you are looking to improve your Tennis Game. A combination of cardio and strength training geared for the muscles you engage during a match. Core training, side slides, shoulder strengthening are just a few examples of exercise you will do during this class. Everyone is welcome! You do not have to play tennis to attend.

Maxed Out!

This power packed class combines strength training with high intensity interval training for the ultimate total body workout.  This challenging class uses BOSU Balls, Free Weights, and Stability Balls to strengthen your core, sculpt your arms, butt and legs and increase your cardio conditioning.

Richmond Yoga/Pilates Descriptions



Dynamic Flow Yoga

A joyful, heart oriented, dynamic and energetic practice incorporating traditional poses from various styles of yoga with vinyasa transitions, linking breath with movement into flowing asana sequences promoting strength, balance, flexibility, core development, deep relaxation and quieting the mind. Class structure also includes arm balances. Some yoga experience required.

Friday Fresh Flow

A physically challenging class to work out the kinks developed during the week. This is a light hearted flow style class that will build some heat and strength. All levels are welcome as lots of modifications are given but feel free to safely test your limits in a fun and open environment. Leave with a calm and refreshed feeling for the weekend! A lovely way to end the work week!

Fusion

The best of both Pilates and yoga, totally integrated to challenge all levels, sculpting the body while connecting the mind, body and spirit in a focused and fun workout.

Hatha Yoga

Experience a meditative, calm, yet strong practice. Perfect for beginners or advanced students who seek mind-body awareness and flexibility.

Power Yoga

Enjoy a dynamic, energetic and inspiring yoga practice, allowing you to build endurance, strength, flexibility and concentration. Great for athletes, this style of yoga will be an excellent complement to your sports.

Urban Flow Yoga

Invigorating power yoga class that will allow you to gain strength, flexibility and health while you continue to challenge yourself and have fun. Set to urban grooves that will inspire and move you.

Yoga for Sports

For both the casual and serious athlete looking to build strength and flexibility to improve performance and reduce the risk of sports related injuries using yoga poses to open and stretch the upper body, hips, quads and hamstrings. This practice will leave you balanced and invigorated to start your day. All levels.

Yoga for the Core

A flowed based yoga class that incorporates postures and movements to strengthen the core. All levels welcome.
